Biography

Jennifer Froh is a Milwaukee-born metalsmith, jeweler, and fabricator. In 2020, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in jewelry and metalsmithing from the Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Froh also received a Certificate in Digital Fabrication and Design. Ideas in her work are inspired by memories and conveyed through the use of mechanisms and interaction. She was first drawn to jewelry and adornment by observing the chainmaille at the Renaissance Fair in Bristol, Wisconsin. Chainmaille led her to more complicated forms of metalworking. Froh Briefly studied abroad in Florence, Italy at the Santa Reparata International School of Art where her work was exhibited in their 2018 student show Incontri. She was an assistant juror with Susie Ganch for Radical Jewelry Makeover- Milwaukee and a guest juror and lecturer for the Loose Bead Society’s 20th anniversary showcase. Froh has also shown her work at multiple exhibitions at the Union Art Gallery and the Innova Gallery and assisted in curating the Contemporary Craft Sale and Exhibition at Kenilworth Square East.
